Standard Spanish Courses
- EEC Spanish School (Peru)
Standard Intensive: 26 hours* per week, Monday to Friday, 9:15 am – 1pm.
Standard Survival: 26 hours* per week, Monday to Friday, 9:15 am – 1pm.
Standard Private: one on ones taylor made to each student.
- *All groups in the Standard Courses (except for the standard private classes) require a minimum of 2 students.
If there is no other student of the same level, you will receive fifteen hours of private lessons and the six hours of the Latin American Immersion Activities
- 6 levels:
Beginners
A1, Beginners A2, Intermediate B1, Intermediate B2 and
Advanced
C1, Advanced C2. Total course is of 400 hours in line with the
Instituto
Cervantes standards and European Union standards.

- From Monday to
Thursdays, there is an Latin American Immersion
Activity (approx. 2 hours depending on the activity). These activities are free for all
EEC Spanish School students.
- You will be
evaluated via an internet test upon your arrival. This
evaluation will be confirmed the first day of classes.
- Content of the courses include
readings,
exercises and role plays that are based on typical day to day
situations you might face when visiting Latin America for holidays, or
when working with Latin Americans. You will learn about the cultural
differences between Europeans, Americans and Latin Americans, with
special notes on the most important Latin nationalities such
as
Argentineans, Spanish, Colombians, Chileans, Peruvians, Mexicans,
Venezuelans, among others .
- The level of cultural content
increases as you take more advanced courses.
- SURVIVAL: This one week course will give you the basics of Spanish and Peruvian Culture so
you can move around Peru comfortably. Here you will learn the key
expressions used when traveling, buying, renting, bargaining, ordering
in a restaurant, and so on. Additionally, we will brief you about the
cultural aspects you need to take into account when doing all
this.
